We are looking for a friendly and proactive Coffee Shop Assistant to join our front-of-house team. Our onsite eatery holds a 5-star VisitScotland rating and offers breakfast, coffee and tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our high standards are consistently maintained.



This is a permanent, part-time role working either 20 or 24 hours per week, across 4 days out of 7, including some weekends. Flexibility is essential.



Rate of pay: 12.60 per hour.


Key duties:





Amongst other duties you will be


welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service making and serving drinks operating the till taking orders and serving food demonstrating your knowledge to customers by advising and assisting with food orders Supporting the team with general cleaning and tidying duties



About you:





You will


preferably have previous experience within a fast paced, customer facing environment be a reliable team player have a pro-active approach and can-do attitude have excellent communication skills be able to stay calm under pressure be committed to delivering exceptional customer service every time
