We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team at Ori Caffe John Lewis High Wycombe. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting in food preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our patrons. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and light snacks. Assist with food preparation while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop, including tables, counters, and equipment. Help manage inventory levels and restock supplies as needed. Provide support during catering events or special promotions. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Skills in food preparation or bartending are advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week
