Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the cleanliness of the workspace. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in the food and beverage industry within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with basic maths skills Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Assist with food preparation tasks when required Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times for customers Uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation in line with company policies

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience

is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-17.33 per hour
