We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team at Ori Caffe. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to food safety will ensure that every customer enjoys a delightful experience in our cafe.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in basic maths for payments and change. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic work environment. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately. A friendly disposition with the ability to help customers feel welcome and valued. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: Up to 12.50 per hour
