Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Coffee Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant New Caffe at Da Vincis. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of the coffee shop. The position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional coffee and culinary experiences.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service Lead and motivate team members, providing training and guidance on food preparation, serving, and customer engagement Oversee food safety compliance, maintaining cleanliness and adherence to health regulations Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and equipment Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed to support team efficiency Ensure all beverages, including specialty coffees, are prepared to high standards by baristas and staff Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere Coordinate staff schedules, monitor performance, and conduct regular team meetings to promote a positive work environment

Skills

Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally with food production or kitchen experience Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation and handling Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example and inspire staff Background in culinary arts or barista experience is highly desirable Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills to liaise with staff and customers confidently Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making Experience in serving customers with hospitality professionalism and courtesy
