We are seeking a motivated and experienced Coffee Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant coffee establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Duties
Supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality in all offerings
Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance and support to foster a positive working environment
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the premises
Assist with food production when necessary, including barista duties and serving customers
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain stock levels, place orders as needed, and manage inventory efficiently
Support training programmes for new staff members to uphold service standards
Skills
Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally with culinary or kitchen experience
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Excellent team management and leadership abilities with prior supervising experience
Skilled in food production, serving, and barista duties with hospitality or hotel experience preferred
Ability to motivate staff, foster teamwork, and maintain high levels of customer service
Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in restaurant or cafe settings is highly desirable; culinary background is advantageous
