We're looking for a

skilled and motivated Coffee Shop Supervisor

who can take charge both

front of house and in the kitchen

. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves preparing and cooking cafe-style food, while also ensuring great customer service and smooth daily operations.

Your passion for good food, excellent coffee, and friendly service will help create a welcoming environment that keeps our customers coming back.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and serve breakfast, lunch, and cafe menu items

to a high standard, following food safety guidelines. Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders using the

POS system

, and serve food and drinks promptly.

Make barista-style coffees and beverages

to a consistent, professional standard. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in both the kitchen and customer areas. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring correct till procedures. Support stock control -- monitor supplies, rotate ingredients, and ensure freshness. Work closely with the team to keep service running smoothly during busy times. Deliver friendly, professional customer service, resolving any issues quickly and politely.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef

or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or cafe setting.

Excellent cooking skills

with a passion for preparing and presenting quality food. In-depth knowledge of

food safety regulations

and best practices in food handling. Experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environment.

Barista experience

or coffee knowledge (preferred but not essential). Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeaner. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
