Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coffee Shop Supervisor to oversee Wednesdays to Sundays operations within our newest cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in coffee/food preparation and service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Coffee Shop Supervisor will play a key part in fostering a welcoming environment while managing the smooth running of all coffee shop activities.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily cafe operations, ensuring efficient service delivery Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality standards Lead, motivate, and manage team members to deliver excellent customer service Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the cafe Assist with food production, including barista duties and basic kitchen tasks as needed Delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise productivity Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace in compliance with health regulations Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary Promote a positive team environment that encourages professional development and teamwork

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a food service or hospitality setting, preferably in a cafe or coffee shop Strong background in coffee/food preparation Experience in serving customers with excellent hospitality skills Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills Previous barista experience is required Latte art is a requirement
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.20-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 46 per week
