Job Title: Cafe SupervisorOverview

The Cafe Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring high standards of customer service, product quality, and team performance. This role assists management in supervising staff, handling customer concerns, and maintaining an efficient, welcoming environment. Please note barista coffee skills required.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

Oversee daily cafe operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Open and/or close the cafe following established procedures. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas, including the cafe floor, barista station, and storage areas.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service and foster a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly. Ensure service quality and consistency in both food and beverage offerings.

Team Leadership

Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff members. Supervise baristas and front-of-house staff during shifts. Delegate tasks, oversee performance, and provide on-the-spot coaching. Promote teamwork and clear communication among staff.

Cash & Financial Responsibilities

Handle cash management, including till reconciliation and resolving variances. Ensure accuracy in transactions, discounts, and promotions. Assist with daily sales reports and inventory counts.

Quality Control

Monitor beverage and food preparation to meet brand and cafe standards. Ensure consistency in recipes, presentation, and service speed. Identify areas for improvement and work with management to implement solutions.

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
