Steve Soult Ltd is a reputable company seeking a skilled and compassionate Coffin Maker to join our team. As a Coffin Maker, you will play a vital role producing a market leading quality product for our clients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Coffin Maker, preferably with wood working experience, but full training will be given on the job. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment. Attention to detail is paramount and the candidate must be able to work diligently from Production Tickets.

Responsibilities:

Construct and assemble coffins to high standards, using various materials and machinery.
Work to ensure time constraints are met in order to make timely delivery of coffins to funeral services
Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve company goals and objectives

Requirements:

No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and develop new skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and quality
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials and coffins

Desired Qualifications:

Basic woodworking skills and experience with power tools
Knowledge of funeral industry practices and procedures

Shift Patterns:

6.00 am - 14.00 pm
14.00 pm - 22.00 pm
These are set hours and not a rotational shift pattern
