South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a qualified and compassionate Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our dedicated and forward-thinking team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based CBT interventions to support individuals in achieving meaningful and sustained recovery.
What you can add:
Provide evidence-based CBT interventions to a defined caseload of young people, supporting their psychological wellbeing and recovery
Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine clinical needs
Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings (MDT), sharing clinical insights and collaborating with colleagues to ensure coordinated, person-centred care, offer consultation and guidance to other professionals when appropriate
Participate in the team duty rote approximately twice a month (with flexibility to increase according to service needs)
What you'll need:
High Intensity IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) Post-Graduate Diploma (Masters).
BABCP Registration
Experience of working with people with a variety of mental health presentations
Specialist mental health and psychological knowledge and skills in relation to moderate to severe anxiety disorders, depression, single and complex trauma.
CAMHS experience is essential
EPJS knowledge is desirable
