About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on

ColdFusion Developer

to join our agile product team and help us tackle some urgent performance issues in our codebase. This is a

replacement role

for a previous contractor, and we need someone who can hit the ground running with

ColdFusion 2021

and

FusionReactor

.

You'll be working closely with our in-house developers and infrastructure team to diagnose performance bottlenecks, improve runtime efficiency, and ensure we're getting the most out of our tools.

What You'll Be Doing

Deep dive into ColdFusion 2021 code to diagnose and fix performance issues Leverage

FusionReactor

for detailed analysis and optimisation Work alongside our SQL developer (no need to write SQL, but understanding tuning is helpful) Collaborate with the wider dev team in a supportive and agile environment Take part in a

technical test

as part of the selection process
What We're Looking For

Strong ColdFusion experience

(ideally version 2021 or recent) Proven knowledge of

FusionReactor

and performance debugging Some familiarity with

SQL performance tuning

is a plus Clear, structured coding style and an analytical mindset Comfortable taking a technical test as part of the process
Bonus Points

Experience working in regulated or secure environments Knowledge of legacy-to-modern architecture transitions Strong communicator who enjoys working across tech teams

Pay: 300.00-400.00 per day
