Join the Close Brothers Marketing Team where you will own and deliver all internal communications activity, via an agreed framework and channel matrix. Ensuring key messages are relevant, meaningful and easy to understand and that the business strategy is well known, projects and programmes are landed safely and effectively to help make colleagues feel connected and engaged.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in helping to connect colleagues while building a shared sense of belonging to drive colleague engagement with excellent creativity, writing skills and is experienced in using various communication methods and channels to help deliver a positive colleague experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Head of Marketing - To develop and deliver the internal communications strategy to support the business in achieving its long- and short-term strategic goals and objectives.
  • Ensure colleagues understand Premium's mission, vision and strategy, along with the 'why, what, how and when'.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing and HR team to define and agree the desired colleague experience and build and evolve colleague touchpoints to enhance the employee proposition, as well as adoption of an internal style guide.
  • Engage and work with Premium's graphic designer, and third-party agencies to produce high-quality multimedia content.
  • Handle the internal communication response to crisis and incident situations which affect organisational perception and reputation.
  • Partner with HR to help foster a clear sense of belonging through improving the colleague experience and colleague engagement metrics that drive and bring to live a positive workplace culture and working environment.
  • Work with Group Internal Communications to align plans and activities. Ensure there is a clear understanding of audience overlap and how best to deliver the 'right' message at the 'right' time from the 'right' person to the 'right' audience.
  • Run regular communications audits to understand the changing colleague landscape and colleague communications needs. Use findings to enhance the internal communications strategy, plan and channels.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills
  • Interpersonal skills and relationship building with stakeholders and senior executives
  • Organisational skills to ensure plans and deliverables schooled are met and up to date
  • A passion for championing good colleague experience
  • The ability to work under pressure and commit to deadlines.
  • An understanding of internal comms measures and reporting on performance and ROI
  • Matrix management experience (e.g. with peers, project teams, external agencies) with the ability to manage up and across the line
  • Experience of marketing or internal communications platforms and tools
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:
  • Experience of the insurance industry
  • Experience of working with suppliers and creative agencies
  • A degree in public relations or communications, other related courses such as English.
