An opportunity has arisen for a delivery/collection van driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for both delivery and collections across the North & ideally reside within 5 miles of Leeds, primarily working on their own but reporting to the area manager. It is a full time, Monday to Friday position, with a degree of flexibility in working hours. There is heavy lifting involved, & some long distance driving involved with 2 nights out every 3months.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

Good geographical knowledge of the UK particular the North Be able to lift heavy equipment Previous multi drop experience Ability to use a Tablet/Software Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers Ability to work on your own initiative and work as part of a team A full driving licence, valid to drive in the UK with no more than 3 penalty points Minimum 3 years driving experience Flexibility about working hours Fork lift license (preferable but not essential) Sales experience (preferable but not essential)

Responsibilities

Operate a delivery van to transport goods to multiple locations efficiently and safely. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of heavy materials. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules. Adhere to traffic regulations and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or issues that may arise during deliveries.
