As a College Services Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' success and providing an excellent student experience and customer service.

The College Services Advisor is part of the College Services team, who play a vital role covering all aspects of student support and success from welcoming to the College to registering at their chosen university. The team provides support across a range of areas, including student wellbeing and support, academic and quality assurance, student progression, compliance and administration.
You will support the effective delivery of these high quality services and provide responsive and proactive support and advice to students.

You will do this by:
Providing responsive support and excellent serviceAnswering student queries in the Welcome area, around the College and digitally Deal with student enquiries by providing a flexible, personalised and inclusive approach Provide excellent customer service in a student facing environment Support the development and delivery of extra-curricular activities


Providing proactive, personalised support to a number of studentsMonitoring and tracking of student progress Advising and signposting to appropriate support Support students in relation to wellbeing and safeguarding


Supporting the implementation of a range of processes and procedures to support the successful running of the CollegeMaintain accurate information on the student management system Support pre-arrival, arrivals, registration and welcome events Assist in the maintenance and development of student-facing content Provide administrative support Assist compliance with regulatory frameworks


You will also:Have a flexible approach to work, for example, some out of hours work may be required at busy periods. Work with the College team, the university partner(s) and other Kaplan Pathways teams to continuously improve the student experience. Undertake other duties as required by the College Management Team.


Candidate profileAbility to deliver excellent customer service skills Good verbal and written communication skills Strong interest in working in education and in particular international students Confident with IT, in particular Microsoft Excel Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively Willingness to work flexibly Experience of working as part of a team to achieve goals Attention to detail. Ability to take initiative A strong commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion A strong commitment to Safeguarding
