We're looking for a
highly organised and proactive College Services Assistant
to join our friendly and fast-paced
College Support Services team at EKC Ashford College.
This varied and vital role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the college, supporting key services that keep everything running smoothly for staff and students alike.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Providing
efficient and effective administrative support
across a range of college services
Assisting with
student applications, enrolments, exams, and enquiries
using our corporate data systems
Supporting the smooth running of the
Service Help Desk
- reviewing logged jobs, directing requests to the right teams, and ensuring timely follow-up
Coordinating bookings
for pool vehicles and helping to manage day-to-day logistics
Working closely with other departments to help deliver an excellent service experience for all users

About You
As a vital part of our frontline support team, you'll handle a wide range of responsibilities and work with staff, students, and external stakeholders--so strong communication and
exceptional customer service skills
are a must.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Responding to
calls, queries, and visitors
while managing ongoing administrative tasks
Supporting the
reception function
and ensuring a professional, welcoming environment
Managing and processing
curriculum applications
for the upcoming academic year, as well as
current short course enquiries
Contributing to key college operations, including:

Student enrolment and records
+
Timetabling support
+
Exam administration
+
Data entry and document processing
Collaborating with colleagues and external contacts to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
Working to
tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
