We generate significant income from volume rebates and other discounts we have negotiated with suppliers and wholesalers of the products we use and sell in our clinics. We are focused on improving recovery of rebates, both in support of short-term cash generation and to help build a sustainable rebate recovery ecosystem.
In the Commercial Accountant role, you will play a key role in supporting the management of supplier rebate contracts. You'll ensure accurate spend and rebate income reporting, enabling the business to efficiently collect rebate income in line with contractual terms. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across various teams, you'll highlight potential issues and drive process improvements, contributing to meaningful change and our ongoing success.###
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Accurate Rebate Calculation
- Ensuring monthly rebate amounts due from suppliers are calculated with high accuracy, in line with contract terms.
Rebate Accruals Reporting
- Supporting the accurate and timely production of monthly rebate accruals reports required by the IVCE Finance Team.
Contract Improvements Reporting
- Accurately calculating and reporting contract improvements.
Rebate Collections Support
- Supporting IVCE Finance Teams with the management of supplier balance sheet rebate accounts, including investigating and advising on discrepancies.
Processes and Controls
- Ensuring the operation of standard processes and associated key controls and ongoing improvements - Supporting annual audit procedures.
Commercial and Financial Reporting
- Supporting the production of commercial and financial reports required by the business to aid commercial decision-making.
Assisting with rebate data and rebate calculation engine refinement - supporting ad hoc requests and reporting.

Experience/Qualifications:
Qualified accountant with significant familiarity with accounting processes gained through experience
Knowledge of supplier rebate processes and rebates recovery preferable but not essential
Further knowledge and experience of Accounts Payable and Credit Control processes would be beneficial.
Extensive experience in roles where cash generation has been a priority.
Highly proficient in the use of the core Microsoft productivity suite (Excel in particular).
Self-starter, able to define, design and deploy initiatives and changes.
Proficient in preparing material for presentation to stakeholders across both finance and non finance functional areas.
Results oriented, committed to hands on delivery.
