Job Description

Working in a fast paced environment for a specialist construction company you will be responsible for the following duties:

Provide Administration support to the Quantity Surveying and Operational Teams relating to commercial and contractual issues Collating timesheets and labour invoices Filing Purchase Orders Liaison between Procurement and Accounts to support resolution of any invoicing/order queries Checking payment certificates for subcontractors, ensure sufficient allowances within Sub-Contract orders for payments When due and ensure that any overdue retention due to us is kept to a minimum. Running cost reports and distributing to project teams Data analysis and formatting Filing new contracts Prioritising work loads Any other duties specified by the line manager

Experience, Qualifications and Skills



Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Products (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Etc) PC literate Proactive diary management Understanding of Construction specific Contract forms (desirable) Understanding of contractual and commercial knowledge (desirable) To be able to work to tight deadlines and to be process driven. To have a positive outlook and a desire to succeed and continually improve. To be work well as part of a team and to be a positive influencer. To be able to multi-task and drive positive change in a fast-moving organisation. To have good all-round communication skills, personable and to communicate well with all levels of staff and management. To be able to display initiative and to have strong attention to detail.
We work across the UK and Europe. Your primary responsibilities will be assisting the European Team which from time to time may involve trips to European projects in Norway, Finland, the Netherlands and Germany. Working from home may be an option for the right candidate but you would be expected to attend the office from time to time or when requested.

Although work will be on a Zero Hours Contract, the role is expected to extend for years to come and for there may be an option to becoming permanent.

Pay: 110.00-125.00 per day
