Job Summary


A vacancy has arisen within our Commercial Department for a Commercial Administrator. This position is required to support the business by project managing business projects from request for quotation until order-entry, managing Project 'critical paths', support the Sales function, own the communication between the customer and the plant with regards to production, deliveries and order compliance, handle customer satisfaction issues, assure full back up and the continuity of the Commercial function, have a full understanding of products and bills of materials and co-ordinate, prepare and manage customer Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Meetings.

Tasks



Manage requests for quotation until order-entry Coordinate the introduction/set up of New Products and/or SKUS. Work together with Technical/R&D/Operations to identify most convenient alternative solutions; make sure that the final specs are discussed and agreed beforehand internally with Technic/R&D/Operations/Supply Chain, in order to assure the most correct and convenient set up. Obtain costs and specifications, do the cost-matrices and submit it to the approval of the Commercial. Will involve liaising with Supply Chain and Procurement teams. Ensure that a draft quotation, including cost price calculation and specifications, is made in full and on time. Clearly identify and communicate needs from the Customer/Prospect/Plant.

Support Sales + Supply Chain:



Commercial administrative duties. Enquiries-offers-and orders-administration. Price updates/revisions. Compiling information and issuing customer and internal commercial reports. Weekly, monthly quarterly Collect/obtain and distribute samples and info requested by the Customer/Prospect. Back-up Commercial during its absence, externally and internally. Inventory Management. Generate Obsolete and Excess Stock Reports, and help managing obsoletes (together with the Plant). Credit Control - Support Customer Service to ensure any overdue payment are resolved and duly paid. Will also involve regular customer liaison. Tracking sales progress, against LTP Support Preparation of the Sales Budget. Review Fixed and LTP with Demand Planning and Supply Chain Monitor and Report Service level Own the communication with Customers/Prospects Own the communication regarding Customer/Prospect plans and demands. Own the communication regarding production and delivery schedules to Customers. Proactively liaise on all supply chain issues regarding order compliance with supply chain and Customer.

Handle Customer/Prospect satisfaction issues:



Manage a Customer/Prospect satisfaction issue (with the Plant). Co-ordinate the handling of the Customer/Prospect satisfaction issue within the organisation and escalate the issue when necessary. Organise communication to Customer/Prospect with regards to the issue (make sure a proper answer will follow).

Responsibilities



Customer/Prospect satisfaction (regarding communication and co-operation in general and especially in finished goods supply chain management). Accurate sales administration. Customer/Prospects requests (on time). Project management Sales Analysis and Reports, meeting both internal and customer requirements. Effective communication between the Customers/Prospects and the Plants. Customer feeling that he is being well taken care off.
This role requires a proactive individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced Commercial environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational abilities, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude towards supporting team success.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
