Goodlaw Solicitors LLP is looking for a dynamic and experienced Commercial and Property Litigation Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their Dispute Resolution team in Brighton and Hove. We are a vibrant, friendly firm seeking the best talent to join and grow with us. This role is ideal for a solicitor with 5 or more years of post-qualification experience who is ready to take on a varied and challenging caseload, working with a diverse client base including businesses, landlords, developers, and individuals.
Key duties
Handling a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, director/shareholder issues, and professional negligence claims
Managing property litigation cases, such as lease renewals, dilapidations, rent arrears, forfeiture, boundary disputes, and landlord & tenant issues
Advising clients on litigation strategy, risk, and settlement options
Conducting negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships
Mentoring junior team members where required
Assisting the Partnership in building the commercial litigation offering in the Brighton and Hove area
