Job description
The role holder will work with the Head of Commercial & Contract Management and stakeholders across the business to support all commercial activity. This will include supporting the development of a commercial pipeline, procurement support, contract management, supplier performance monitoring and reporting, and helping to develop commercial capability across the department.
This role represents an excellent development opportunity in a dynamic environment. It will enable cross-functional working and provide experience in a number of commercial areas.

Person specification
1. Support the business with the delivery of all procurement and commercial activity;
2. Draft procurement documentation, such as invitation to tenders, request for quotations, award recommendation reports and award letters;
3. Provide continuous support to the improvement of commercial systems and processes, maintaining accurate data sources to support reporting to senior management;
4. Lead on day-to-day oversight of GAD's building service contracts, raising and escalating any issues relating to property services and billing;
5. Support development and roll-out of commercial training to the department;
6. Support compliance with the Government's spending transparency requirements;
7. Support the Finance Platform Replacement project team when required.
