Job Description

We are currently seeking a

reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic

part-time cleaner to join our team at a commercial site in Flint. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the premises, working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations. Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the site supervisor. Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in good condition.

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience essential. Ability to demonstrate effective cleaning methods. Must be punctual, trustworthy, and flexible. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies. Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored properly. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve cleanliness standards across all areas.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is advantageous.
