We are also looking for a skilled Commercial Conveyancing Secretary to support our commercial property department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong legal secretarial experience who enjoys working on more complex matters.
Applicants must have previous secretarial experience, ideally within a legal environment. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications without prior secretarial or legal administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and managing client files for commercial transactions
Typing and formatting contracts, leases, and other legal documentation
Submitting Land Registry and SDLT applications, and carrying out searches
Handling correspondence and liaising with clients, lenders, and third parties
Organising diaries, meetings, and deadlines for fee earners
Providing efficient secretarial and administrative support across the department
About You:
Experience as a legal secretary in conveyancing, ideally with exposure to commercial property work
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Confident communicator with the ability to build good relationships internally and externally
Confident typing and IT skills (Microsoft Office and case management systems, specifically LEAP)
A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
