What you'll be doing:



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Commercial & Delivery Coordinator

to support the commercial and delivery functions of key infrastructure and smart city projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating project delivery while supporting commercial activities such as contract administration, payment management, supplier liaison, and reporting to ensure smooth and compliant project execution.

Key Responsibilities:



Coordinate and validate contractor applications for payment across multiple project phases, including IoT and smart infrastructure rollouts. Manage and maintain change control processes for work orders, including cost assessment, evidence verification, and formal submission. Certify interim payments and issue formal payment certificates to contractors. Issue Acceptance Certificates upon verified completion of works. Resolve quantity and rate queries with contractors and suppliers. Assist with final account negotiations and certification processes. Support project cash flow forecasting and manage material call-offs in collaboration with the delivery team. Maintain the Payments & Retention Tracker in coordination with the finance team. Assess and reconcile permit chargebacks with build assurance teams, ensuring accurate deductions from supplier accounts. Raise and manage material purchase orders via Anixter and Procurify, ensuring documentation compliance and PO matching. Provide day-to-day contract and supplier administration support. Maintain project risk registers, RAID logs, and the Early Warnings Tracker. Track project materials and progress against build programmes, gathering updates from field teams and partners. Schedule and coordinate weekly project progress meetings; capture minutes and track follow-up actions. Produce and circulate regular commercial and delivery status reports for internal and external stakeholders

Essential Skills & Experience:



Proven experience in a commercial, delivery, or project coordination role (ideally within telecoms, utilities, or infrastructure). Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to resolving issues. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally. Understanding of contract management, work order administration, and payment certification. Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers, including managing POs and invoices. Familiarity with BOQ, CDM, and construction or utility project workflows is highly desirable. Experience in IoT or smart infrastructure projects, with previous Street Works or PIA coordination experience advantageous. Previous experience as a Commercial or Project Coordinator. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
