Commercial Designer

to join our team and translate visionary concepts into buildable realities.

The Role



We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Commercial Designer who will be instrumental in the planning, designing, and technical execution of our most ambitious commercial sauna and spa projects (e.g., hotels, health clubs, unique wellness complexes). This role requires a

deep technical understanding

of building design and construction, combined with exceptional organisational skills to manage complex project documentation.

Key Responsibilities



Detailed Technical Design:

Produce high-quality, fully dimensioned,

AutoCAD drawings or REVIT models

(plans, elevations, sections, and details) for bespoke commercial saunas and associated spaces.

Technical Compliance:

Ensure all designs adhere to relevant building codes and commercial design standards, with a specific focus on critical technical considerations such as: Fire Management and Safety (ADB) Access To and Use of Buildings (ADM) Electrical and Ventilation (ADP/ADF)

Document Control:

Maintain and manage all project documentation, drawings, and specifications. This includes excellent proficiency in document handling, nomenclature, and version control to ensure the entire project team is working with the latest, correct information.

Contracts Awareness:

Apply a good general awareness of construction contracts and project schedules to inform the design process and anticipate potential scheduling and construction issues.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Sales, Design, Project Management, and Construction teams to ensure designs are successfully delivered on time and on budget.

Required Skills & Experience



Proven experience in a design, architectural, or technical role within the construction or fit-out industry (e.g., commercial interiors, luxury residential, specialty construction). Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD or REVITis essential, with a portfolio demonstrating experience in producing detailed, construction-ready technical drawing packages. Demonstrable experience or highly transferrable knowledge of commercial building design considerations and regulatory compliance. Exceptional organisational skills and a meticulous approach to technical documentation, research, drawing standards, and file management. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical explanations and internal coordination.
