Relevent Football Partners (RFP) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Relevent, purpose-built to commercialise the UEFA men's club competitions globally. An independent entity, RFP is tasked with providing UC3 -- the joint venture between UEFA and the European Club Association (ECA) -- strategic and sales support in the worldwide marketing and sale of media, sponsorship, and licensing rights for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League, and the UEFA Futsal Champions League.
Following the UC3 tender process, Relevent Football Partners was awarded the commercial rights to the UEFA men's club competitions (Champions League, Europa League and Conference League) on a global basis for the 2027 to 2033 cycle.
Role Overview
Relevent Football Partners is seeking a dynamic and strategic
Commercial Development Executive
to sit at the heart of the Sponsorship & Licensing team and drive commercial outcomes. The core responsibilities of the role encompass using a data and insight-led approach to develop high-impact sales materials and conceptualising innovative partnership assets. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy an creative execution, playing a pivotal role in how UEFA's men's club competition present its value to brands in the United States market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Material Development
Creative compelling, visually engaging sponsorship presentations, one-pagers, brochures and case studies tailored to prospective and existing partners.
Collaborate with the Strategy & Insight and Sales teams to convert business strategy and brand narratives into persuasive visual stories.
Creative Ideation & Asset Innovation
Generate new, strategic ideas for sponsorship assets across digital, experiential, broadcast and on-site platforms.
Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure UEFA's men's club competition partnership offerings remain innovative and competitive.
Sales Operations
Work closely with other Relevant Football Partners departments, including but not limited Communications, Legal and Finance, throughout the sales process to ensure business alignment
Lead the operational responsibilities in transitioning sponsorship and licensing opportunities from proposal to contract, including drafting term sheets and contributing to negotiations of both term sheets and long form agreements
Assisting in a smooth transition from signed agreements to day-to-day management by the Partnerships Team.
Special Projects
Additional responsibilities around special projects as assigned by departments leads, as well as liaising with any third party external agencies and/or production partners where necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in a marketing, advertising and/or creative role(s) required, ideally within sports, entertainment or media
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance or another related field required
Proven track record of sales and/or sponsorship material that drive commercial success
Advanced proficiency in presentation software (inc. PowerPoint) required, with additional design software experience beneficial (inc. Adobe Creative Suite)
Must also be proficient across the wider Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both verbal and written, required
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and engaging with senior executives.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to seek out and act on feedback in a timely manner
