Job Description

Job Title: Commercial Electrician (CIS Registered)

Location: Nationwide with occasional working away

Contract Type: Self-Employed (CIS) to start mid August 2025

About the Role:

We are seeking skilled and reliable Commercial Electricians to join our team on a self-employed CIS basis. You'll be working on a variety of commercial projects across the UK with some jobs requiring working away. The ideal candidate would be based within a 25 mile radius of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out commercial electrical installations, maintenance, and testing Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics Work safely and in compliance with 18th Edition and site standards Complete certification and reports as required Collaborate with other team members or work independently as needed

Requirements:

CIS Registered (Self-Employed) Own van and tools (essential) NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) ECS Gold Card (preferred) 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification (desirable) Full UK Driving Licence Willingness to travel and work away when required Must have experience of commercial electrical projects Must be capable of working alone (as required)
