About the role





Within the role, you are to ensure margins are maximised across our product portfolio through accurate quoting, pricing, cost base management and commercial actions, managing risk areas with support from the Product Manager. The role will develop destination specialist knowledge to establish new product opportunities working with contracting, marketing and sales to bring them to market.



Key responsibilities include:



Ensuring our quote proposals and packages are produced in an accurate and timely manner following our processes. To keep up to date with product & destination development working with the contracting team to enable the creation of market leading products, services and packages that best meet the needs of our customers To work within the Product & Commercial team to support the achievement of financial goals and/or targets To meet internal and external customer service levels, actively engaging and communicating with other teams to build and share knowledge and expertise To undertake commercial reporting, understanding and monitoring where we are tracking against our key performance on margin and other measures, investigating, and taking appropriate actions in consultation with the Product Manager. To work with other teams in relation to the set up of each season, ensuring our packages loaded with the most accurate cost base ensuring we're optimising seasonality to maximise margin potential.



About you





Expected knowledge and skills:



Knowledge of the school travel market desirable and or a good knowledge of travel or working within travel with a curiosity about educational aspects of travel. Good attention to detail and organisational skills; able to move from task to task and juggle multiple itineraries and quotations. Commercial acumen with excellent foundational numeracy, literacy and analytical capability with good understanding of pricing, costs and margins to explore and develop valuable performance insights for continuous improvement. Excellent communications and ability to build trusted relationships through collaboration and service orientation. Good working knowledge of Office products such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook.



Work Arrangements





This is a full-time role based in our Brighton office. Following an induction period we offer hybrid working (a minimum of 3 days per week in the Brighton office).
