Role Profile



We are looking for an exceptional candidate to act as Commercial Finance Business Partner, Commercial (FTC).



Lloyd's List Intelligence is enjoying a period of rapid growth and requires additional resource to assist in establishing best practices across its Commercial Finance and FP&A teams to support the expanding global business.



This includes focusing on reporting excellence, especially around Revenues, backed up by robust reconciliation processes between Salesforce and NetSuite. It also includes working closely with the Product team to improve business case modelling and performance reporting to allow confident decision making to continue to grow at pace.



This is a full time, fixed term role for an initial period of 6 months reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance.



This role is balanced working model between home and in our London (UK) office with an excellent and wide variety of services and transport links.

Key Responsibilities




Produce accurate and insightful revenue reporting materials for month end, board reporting & weekly trading meetings Review and improve financial models and processes to allow new product business cases to be produced and reviewed more quickly, and with a higher level of accuracy Review, redesign and implement end-to-end Revenue capture and reporting processes, collaborating with other areas of Finance, Data and Sales Ops Develop financial reporting tools and dashboards, ensuring accurate and timely data reporting for senior management to drive commercial decisions. Support the Head of Commercial Finance when required in providing commercial support for all parts of the business, including the Sales and Product Teams Support the CFO, FP&A team and other areas of Finance as appropriate



What we are looking for:




Essential




Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) At least 3 years' experience and a proven track record in finance business partnering You have excellent interpersonal skills You are confident in building finance business models using Excel You are commercially minded with strong numerical skills

Desirable




Experience working for a PE backed business Experience using Salesforce and/or NetSuite
