Job Description

A leading global events and entertainment business are looking for a Commercial Finance Director on a 12 month contract with a strong likelihood of the role becoming permanent. This global market leader operate or commercially represent events around the world, including culinary and music festivals, exhibitions, mass participation events and leading tournaments and championships in more than a dozen sports.

Responsibilities:

• Be the primary owner and contact to the Exec team relationship in order to provide support and insight for business/commercial decision making
• Own all business modelling for through collaborating and business partnering with Executive, Senior and Event leadership
• Support the a small team of senior level direct reports and be the primary owner of the relationship with the key business stakeholders and existing processes
• Be the owner of the entire business unit finance function from accounting to strategic planning and delivery.
• Ownership of month/quarter/year end process and reporting for the division
• Provide regular and ad hoc management reporting for decision-making \xe2\x80\x93 trend, variance & sensitivity analysis
• Ownership of the full budgeting and forecasting process for the division, including presentation
• Own and maintain various relationships across the broader business, including Event Directors, Transactional Finance, Legal and HR

Person Required:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong senior level commercial finance and business partnering skills
• Ability to quickly build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders or all levels
• Strong business modelling skills, able to determine key assumptions and evaluation metrics
• Ability to lead a commercial finance team
• Excellent communication skills
