Job Description
As FD you will be;
- Finance
- Responsible for the management of the Finance department
- Manage the preparation of the annual and half-year financial results. Responsible for the review and application of all required statutes, standards and technical guidance.
- Support the CFO on any strategic investments and acquisitions
- Lead the management of the annual report production process in conjunction with the marketing department
- Deliver the required management information to monitor the Group\'s performance against its business plan
- Manage the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Build the annual budgets as well as regular re-forecasts as required and any other ad-hoc financial reports / information
- Preparation of accounting and reporting papers to the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and attend all meetings through the year
- Be first point of contact for the external auditor
- Review and co-ordinate the responses to and clearance of the audit recommendations and ARCC review process
- Assist with the preparation for institutional shareholder meetings including presentations and responding to ad-hoc enquiries
You will need to be;
- A qualified accountant
- Have a strong controls background including excellent knowledge of IFRS 9 and 15
- Experience of working in a regulated, financial services environment
- An innovative thinker, with a strong work ethic
