About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and client-focused
Commercial Insurance Account Executive
to join our professional and dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, handling both renewals and new business opportunities. You will act as a key point of contact for your clients, delivering excellent service and expert advice to meet their insurance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a book of commercial insurance clients, including processing renewals and securing new business quotes
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers
Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of service is maintained
Provide advice on a range of commercial insurance products tailored to client needs
Handle and support clients with claims processes and enquiries
Negotiate terms with insurers to achieve the best outcomes for clients
Ensure all client records are accurate and maintained in line with company procedures and compliance standards
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities where appropriate
Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory requirements
About You:
Previous experience in commercial insurance, preferably in a client-facing role
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Confident in negotiating with insurers and advising clients
Cert CII qualification or working towards (preferred but not essential)
Proficient in relevant IT systems and Microsoft Office Suite
