The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated
Commercial Insurance Adviser
to join our team at NFU Mutual Salisbury & Wareham. This role will focus on commercial insurance lines across Wareham, Bournemouth, and the surrounding areas.
Based in our Wareham office, you'll benefit from our outstanding reputation for customer service and claims support. You'll also be supported by a dedicated marketing and prospecting team to help drive new business.
With strong earning potential, this role suits someone entrepreneurial, client-focused, and willing to travel to meet potential clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Writing new business in line with targets set by the Agents
Creating, developing, and managing an active sales pipeline
Ensuring compliance with all quality and regulatory standards
Prospecting within NFU Mutual's acceptance criteria
Delivering high-quality, face-to-face consultations and quotes
Creating and executing an annual new business plan
Building strong local sector relationships
Networking with potential introducers in the area
Continual professional development through training and licensing
About You
We welcome candidates with experience in either commercial or personal insurance lines, particularly those working towards or holding
CII qualifications
.
You should demonstrate:
Strong sales skills or a proven sales background
A professional, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial approach
Ability to manage and grow a pipeline of prospects
High standards in service delivery and compliance
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
Desire for personal development and learning
