About the role:
Due to continued growth of the Stamford Agency, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial insurance Sales Executive.
As a Commercial Insurance Sales Executive, you'll play an important role driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs. You'll be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of customers and attracting new customers. The focus will be upon our suite of Commercial General Insurance products and services.
At the core of our approach lies the cultivation of strong relationships and the practice of cross-selling to ensure our customers receive tailored services that align perfectly with their needs. This commitment is reflected in our exceptional customer retention rate, with over 96% of customers choosing to renew their insurance with us annually.
About you:
Highly motivated self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude. You use your face-to-face sales experience to consistently achieve retention and sales targets. Committed to learning and development and ready for the challenge of being part of a team, you'll thrive in this working environment. Ideally to apply for this role you should have:
Live within a commutable distance to the Stamford Agency
Experience working within Insurance or other Financially Regulated Businesses
Experience of working in a face-to-face sales environment, prospecting new business/sales opportunities
Excellent written and verbal communication
Self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously whilst being proactive and demonstrate initiative
Experience prospecting for new clients and developing your own customer acquisition plans
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate difficult conversations and achieve positive outcomes
A minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent of A-C grade including Maths and English.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Full UK Driver's license

Contractually we offer 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays. But in addition to that we offer 2 days additional leave during Christmas week which does not come out of the holiday allocation
Rewarding longevity, in addition to annual salary reviews we increase your holiday entitlement. This will increase by 2 days after 5 years service and 5 days after 10 years
