We are working on behalf of our client to find a driven and experienced Commercial Lead to join their growing team. This is a pivotal role where you will take full ownership of project finances from contract to completion, ensuring projects are commercially successful and achieve or exceed their gross margin targets.

You will be working closely with senior leadership, buyers, project managers, and clients to manage costs, forecast cash flow, and maximise profitability. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive and tenacious individual with a strong commercial background in construction or renewables.

Role Responsibilities



Take full commercial ownership of assigned projects, ensuring gross margin targets are met and exceeded Build out project budgets based on contracts and schedules Own and manage the monthly Project Profitability Report (PPR) Provide accurate revenue, cost, and cash flow projections (past, current and forecasted) Create and submit monthly client valuations and mid-month internal valuations Submit cash flow forecasts for upcoming quarters and ensure positive cash flow from day one Manage project transactions and be final approver for all project-related payments Ensure all variations are captured, documented, and approved to maximise profit Coordinate with Project Buyer to manage variations, raise POs, and process contra charges Seek opportunities to expand and improve the subcontractor base (onboarding managed by Supply Chain team) Achieving and increasing project gross margin targets Timely delivery of the PPR report every month On-time submission of monthly valuations

About You:



Minimum 2 years' experience in a Commercial or Quantity Surveying role Tenacious, self-motivated, and dependable Adaptable, positive, competitive and a team player Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Strong communication and time management skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 45,000.00-55,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday
