Commercial Lead - Data Centre - Frankfurt
We are currently partnered with a large MEP Subcontractor with presence across the UK and Europe. They have recently acquired a EUR50m MEP Package of works on a Data Centre construction project in Frankfurt. Due to this they are now actively seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to join the team.
Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Financial Control:

Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the EUR50M MEP package, ensuring robust financial control, cost management, and alignment with both company objectives and project-specific commercial targets.

Contract Management & Risk Mitigation:

Manage all contractual matters with clients, main contractors, and suppliers, including negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution. Identify commercial risks and lead mitigation strategies to protect project margin and minimise exposure.

Valuations, Variations & Reporting:

Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate monthly valuations, manage change control processes, and ensure all variations and claims are properly substantiated and submitted in a timely manner.

Procurement Oversight & Supply Chain Coordination:

Lead the procurement strategy and commercial management of key MEP packages and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing, clear scopes, and alignment with programme and quality requirements.

Team Leadership & Client Liaison:

Manage and mentor the commercial team on-site, fostering collaboration with operations and planning teams. Act as the primary commercial interface with the client and main contractor to ensure transparency, accountability, and positive commercial outcomes.
Requirements
Must have 8+ years' experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects
Must come from an MEP background
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Germany
