Mechanical Supervisor - Data Centre - Frankfurt
We are currently partnered with a large MEP Subcontractor with presence across the UK and Europe. They have recently acquired a EUR50m MEP Package of works on a Data Centre construction project in Frankfurt. Due to this they are now actively seeking 3 experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join the team.
Responsibilities
Supervision of Mechanical Installations:
Oversee the daily execution of mechanical works including HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, and drainage systems, ensuring all installations meet project specifications, design drawings, and quality standards.
Team & Subcontractor Management:
Manage and coordinate mechanical crews and subcontractors on-site, ensuring effective allocation of labour, adherence to task schedules, and high productivity in line with project milestones.
Quality & Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure all mechanical activities are carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures, identifying risks and implementing preventative measures proactively.
Technical Coordination & Drawing Interpretation:
Interpret mechanical drawings and schematics, resolving technical issues in coordination with electrical and CSA (civil/structural/architectural) teams to ensure smooth and integrated installation.
Progress Tracking & Reporting:
Monitor and record daily progress of mechanical works, report delays, issues, or material shortages to the Project Manager, and support the overall project reporting process with accurate site updates.
Requirements
Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
Must have 3+ years' experience in a similar position on Data centre construction projects or similar large scale construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Germany
Benefits
EUR70,000 - EUR80,000 per annum + Full Rotational Package
