Commercial Accountant / Management Accountant / Business Partner
to join our dynamic team, supporting both regional and national operations. This role is based at
Dunbar, Scotland working flexibly on a hybrid basis.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of the finance team, you'll be the go-to expert for financial reporting, planning, and performance analysis across our Dunbar Cement and Packing Plants. You'll also take the lead on national responsibilities including Cement Support Costs and weekly KPI reporting.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Delivering accurate and insightful
management reporting
, including budgets, forecasts, and performance plans.
Providing
financial advice and challenge
to stakeholders to drive performance improvements.
Preparing and managing
CAPEX schedules
, project evaluations, and capital expenditure authorisations.
Ensuring
SOX-compliant accounting
and maintaining balance sheet integrity.
Producing timely, accurate accounts in line with statutory and internal requirements.
Supporting regional managers with relevant, actionable financial insights and KPIs.
What You'll Bring
Fully qualified
ACA / ACCA / CIMA
, or qualified by experience.
Strong background in
Management Accounting
, ideally within a large, matrix organisation.
Proven ability to
influence and challenge stakeholders
to deliver value.
A flexible, adaptable approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
Willingness to travel to other key sites including
Solihull and Buxton
.
