Company Overview: ADAYA LTD is a restaurant management company based in Glasgow, established in September 2024. Our business encompasses independent menu development, restaurant operations management, brand franchising, and providing systematic operational training and ongoing support to franchise partners.
In the same year, we successfully opened our first restaurant, MASA Kitchen, offering Japanese-focused Asian fusion cuisine, which has been warmly welcomed by the local community. With ongoing brand expansion and franchise development, we are seeking a full-time Commercial Manager to oversee overall business growth and franchise management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement overall commercial strategies and market expansion plans.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing franchise partners, ensuring brand standards, operational quality, and partner satisfaction.
- Identify and recruit new franchise partners and business collaborators, managing the full process from initial contact to signing and implementation.
- Conduct market research, industry and competitor analysis to identify new commercial opportunities.
- Manage and optimize franchise processes, operational models, and revenue analysis to drive business growth.
- Provide standardized operational process training and support to franchise partners, ensuring compliance with brand standards and quality requirements.
- Monitor commercial and financial performance, developing action plans to achieve sales, cost, and profit targets.
- Coordinate with menu development and operations teams to ensure franchise operations comply with brand standards.
- Prepare business reports, proposals, and strategic presentations for senior management.
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' full-time experience in commercial management or business development within the restaurant/hospitality sector.
- Proven experience in managing and supporting franchise systems, as well as developing new franchise partners.
- Strong skills in business strategy execution, contract negotiation, and project management.
- Excellent communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate internal teams and external partners. - Strong analytical skills, including financial and market data interpretation to drive decisions.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the UK as required.
- Familiarity with the UK restaurant market and knowledge of Asian dining culture or relevant language skills is desirable.
