Overview
PACE Infrastructure Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support the delivery of complex rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects. This role is key to ensuring that our commercial, financial, and contractual objectives are achieved across all stages of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Contract Administration: Manage NEC contract processes including payments, variations, compensation events, and final accounts.
Change & Risk Management: Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities, and change control processes to protect project value.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and project teams.
Leadership & Support: Provide commercial guidance to project teams, supporting decision-making and developing junior staff.
Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities align with company policies, governance requirements, and client contracts.
Bid & Tender Support: Contribute to pricing, contractual reviews, and commercial submissions for new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in commercial or quantity surveying roles within the rail or civil infrastructure sectors.
Strong understanding of NEC contract forms and associated processes.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proactive, collaborative, and commercially astute approach.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (MRICS preferred).
