Commercial Manager
to lead our client growth strategy, oversee key accounts, and shape the future of Academii's commercial operations.
The Role
As
Commercial Manager
, you'll play a pivotal role in driving Academii's growth - leading business development, account management, and marketing activity to expand our client base and strengthen existing relationships. You'll report directly into our CEO.
You'll oversee our
Key Account Manager
, manage strategic accounts directly, and coordinate outbound marketing to generate qualified leads and new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Academii's commercial strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets
Manage and grow relationships with key strategic accounts
Oversee and support the Key Account Manager to ensure strong client delivery and retention
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target sectors (public, private, and education)
Develop proposals, bids, and commercial tenders with the leadership team
Lead outbound marketing and engagement campaigns, working with internal and external partners
Produce commercial forecasts, sales reports, and performance dashboards
Contribute to pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and partnership development
Represent Academii at events, meetings, and conferences
About You
Proven experience in
commercial management, business development, or strategic sales
Strong track record of
B2B growth and account expansion
, ideally in
digital learning
,
SaaS
, or
education technology
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels
Experience leading or mentoring others in sales or client delivery roles
Confident developing proposals, managing budgets, and negotiating contracts
Understanding of marketing strategy, lead generation, and digital outreach
Ambitious, self-motivated, and excited by growth and innovation
