What does the role involve?
Information Management & Reporting - Database
Ensure the DC Register section of the Commercial Database is regularly updated with information received internally from LINK and externally from Members in respect of DC locations.
Produce all regular and ad-hoc reports required in respect of the DC process including, but not limited to:
o Fortnightly PSR & LINK Status Reports.
o Fortnightly Completed and Planned Installation Reports.
o Monthly Committed Expenditure Reports for LINK Finance Director.
o Monthly DC Performance Reports.
o Ad-Hoc DC Status Reports for Internal Review Meetings.
Ensure all data input to the DC Register and produced via reporting is accurate.
Direct Commissioning - Request for Bids
Manage the end-to-end DC bid process once initiated by the Head of Commercial Initiatives.
Issue Requests for Bids to Members.
Monitor timescales and ensure reminders are sent to Members in respect of bid deadlines.
Make recommendations to Head of Commercial Initiatives in respect of bids received, together with justification.
Advise participating Members of the outcome of the bidding process.
Ensure completion and appropriate authorisation of DC Bid Agreements, including secure filing for audit purposes.
Direct Commissioning - Implementation
Track installation progress with the successful bidder including managing regular update calls.
Send reminder emails to Members once key milestone dates for delivery have been reached.
Monitor locations for resolution via the DC process or outside of the process, via the ATM Locator.
Escalate any issues promptly to Head of Commercial Initiatives.
Liaise with requesters, potential host locations, local authorities and any other stakeholders as required.
Request Purchase Orders once an ATM has been installed via the DC process.
Provider of Last Resort
Initiate request for ATM to the POLR.
Track installation progress with the POLR, ensuring SLAs are met in respect of installation timescales.
Escalate any issues promptly to Head of Commercial Initiatives.
What will I need to know?
Strong Communication skills, both verbal (face to face and phone) and written.
Self-motivated with experience of working remotely without the need to be managed and directed closely including working away from home.
Well organised and used to working within SLAs to ensure work is completed within timescales.
Ability to write well structured, concise, accurate reports suitable for distribution to Senior Management.
Ability to interpret and comment upon data.
Confident in the use of standard Microsoft packages.
Sympathetic to a social inclusion agenda within a commercial environment.
