Accounts / Commercial Officer
to join our team.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both the financial and commercial elements of the business. This is a varied position offering exposure to a wide range of tasks including financial reporting, invoicing, payroll, contract administration, and supporting the operational team.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage sales and purchase invoices
Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts
Prepare and review costings, budgets, and forecasts
Support the operational team with contract and project administration
Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding payments and contract queries
Monitor project costs and assist in profitability analysis
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Requirements:
Experience in an accounting or commercial role
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
AAT qualification (or working towards) or equivalent experience desirable but not essential
