Commercial Pipe Fitter/plumber
Job Description
Due to being very busy, Planned Environmental Services are looking for a pipe fitter/plumber to join their mechanical team. You will be carrying out planned works as well as reactive repairs, based in Chelmsford and covering all surrounding areas, including London.
Duties include but are not limited to,
- Installation of different pipework including mild steel, copper, cast iron etc.
- Using different jointing methods including but not limited to Press-Fit, grooving, threading, soldering and brazing.
- Installation of 1st and 2nd fix plumbing.
- You will be installing commercial pipework systems including but not limited to LTHW, domestic water systems, above ground drainage and CHW.
Requirements
- Must be willing to travel daily, around Essex and London.
- Be able to work as an individual and part of a team.
- Ideally have experience in commercial plumbing/pipefitting.
- Ideally have knowledge of commercial heating and domestic water systems.
- Be able to work well on your own initiative and within teams.
