Brecker Grossmith has an immediate vacancy for a bright self-motivated Commercial Property Agent/ Asset manager with at least 1-2 years' commercial property experience letting shops, offices and other commercial properties - acting for both landlord and tenant.
The post would probably suit an ambitious 'go-getter' who prefers working in the office to working from home.
The successful candidate would be honing deal making skills working within a team handling property lettings, property management, asset management, lease renewals, lease and portfolio restructuring and acquisitions.
Brecker Grossmith is a boutique, well established family owned West End firm of chartered surveyors co-founded by SM Brecker and the late Stanley Grossmith in Wigmore Street in the West End of London in 1956.
The appointed Agent will be working in a small team of 4 to 5 people which includes a commercial asset manager/ head of professional services, a property manager, an accounts controller and the business owner.

Requirements
We seek a self-starter who has 1-2 years of experience as a commercial Property Agent.
DUTIES OF COMMERCIAL PROPERTY AGENT/ ASSET MANAGER WILL INCLUDE:
Dealing with day to day Agency and ensuring smooth running for existing clients.
Finding new business, winning new instructions, sourcing properties and clients.
Handling Acquisitions and Disposals.
Carefully and conscientiously taking and logging all enquiries.
Researching and collecting data of local commercial activity.
Harnessing own contacts and clients and knowledge of location and opportunities.
Perusing particulars/ internet/ periodicals.
Assisting in all marketing efforts including cold calling, leaflet drops, meeting occupiers
and learning their needs.
Preparing particulars and uploading details and monitoring the company's web site and
CRM.
Uploading marketing particulars through numerous agency services;such as West End
Agents/PIP and EACH
Inspecting and measuring properties.
Carrying out viewings.
Negotiating and working up draft Heads of Terms.
Agreeing and preparing final Heads of Terms.
Seeking client's consent.
Liaising with colleagues, Head of Department and Professional team where required on
any points.
Instructing lawyers.
Administering CPSE replies via professional colleagues,
Obtaining fit out details and liaising with client, colleagues and advisers where necessary.
Liaising with all parties through to completion.
Meeting with other agents in primarily West End and City markets,
Potentially attending networking events including Shop Agents Society; Office Agents
Society and Business breakfasts.
Handling Land Registry enquiries.
Carrying out company searches including financial reports and assisting colleagues in
other searches .
Filling in and supporting day to day residential management during any absence of
property manager.
