Our client is looking to appoint a driven, dedicated, and commercially aware solicitor to play a key role within their Commercial Property team, supporting a diverse client portfolio including businesses, landlords, tenants, developers, and investors.

Commercial Property Solicitor Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments Advising clients on buying and selling commercial premises, lease negotiations, and ongoing property management issues Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, leases, licences, and associated legal documentation Conducting property due diligence, title reviews and searches, and preparing comprehensive reports on findings Liaising directly with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transaction progression Handling commercial property finance and supporting on development and planning matters Overseeing post-completion formalities including registrations, SDLT submissions, and file management Ensuring all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and professional compliance requirements are fully met

Required Skills & Experience for Commercial Property Law

Qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in commercial property law Solid understanding of current commercial property legislation and practice Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision Strong client care focus, with excellent relationship building skills Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills Confident communicator, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice software Ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team and independently
