Key Responsibilities



Provide expert advice on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, and leasing. Draft, review, and negotiate leases, contracts, and other property-related documentation. Undertake thorough due diligence on property transactions and deliver clear, practical guidance. Manage property portfolios, covering lease renewals, rent reviews, and ongoing landlord/tenant issues. Support property finance work, including refinancing arrangements and security documentation. Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to deliver integrated client service. Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, building networks, and maintaining strong professional relationships. Actively engage with the wider business community to raise the profile of commercial property services. Offer input into marketing initiatives and help implement strategies to attract new clients. Spot opportunities for cross-referrals and wider service offerings. Take ownership of professional growth, ensuring compliance with continuing education requirements. Provide guidance and support to junior team members and encourage their professional development.

Candidate Profile



At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in commercial property law. Strong technical expertise with the ability to manage complex transactions independently. Proactive and entrepreneurial, with a genuine interest in business development. Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills. Client-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure. Collaborative team player who builds effective relationships with clients and professional contacts. Already established within the commercial property sector, with a network of clients, intermediaries, and industry connections.
