The Role

The Commercial Proposal Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the pricing and financial analysis of service contracts, tenders, and tariff implementations. This position involves close collaboration with technical teams to define the scope of services and estimate associated costs, enabling the preparation of accurate and competitive client proposals. The role demands strong analytical skills, particularly in cost and profit analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage complex data and financial models. Working under tight deadlines, the coordinator ensures that all pricing activities align with business objectives and client expectations.



In addition to pricing and analysis, the Coordinator is responsible for attending internal and external meetings, managing long-term customer relationships, and ensuring smooth handovers of budget breakdowns to project management teams. The role also includes evaluating the profitability of completed projects to inform future pricing strategies. Success in this position requires a blend of financial acumen, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to support both operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements

Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, employment in the UK Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accounting, finance, business or molecular biology discipline Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills Experience in a commercial business environment

Desirable Requirements

Prior accounting/financial analysis role (in particular for tailored services/products)

Pharmaceutical/ Biotech/ Diagnostics sector experience

Further Information

This role will be based on a flex pattern between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00 with core hours of 10:00 - 16:00.



Hybrid working can be applied for after successful completion of probation.
