Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems across various facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with schematics, and leadership qualities to oversee maintenance projects effectively. The ideal applicant will have experience in equipment repair, maintenance/service, and fitting-related tasks, ensuring optimal performance and safety of refrigeration units. Responsibilities

Conduct service/repair tasks and preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure efficient operation. Have good knowledge for maintenance jobs especially during complex repair or installation projects. Troubleshoot system malfunctions, perform repairs on compressors & condensing units.

Qualifications

Conduct installations of new dairy cabinets/freezers with the assistance of fellow engineers. Proven experience in refrigeration engineering or a related field such as HVAC or mechanical maintenance. Strong understanding of commercial chillers/freezers and system layouts. Demonstrable mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair diverse refrigeration equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system optimisation and safety compliance. Relevant qualifications or certifications in refrigeration engineering or HVAC technology are preferred.
