We are looking for a Commercial Specialist to strengthen our commercial function and elevate the customer experience during the critical quoting phase. This is your chance to be at the heart of the action - influencing everything from the look and feel of quotes to the rigour of our internal processes and the accuracy of our costings. With tools like Salesforce and Dynamics 365, and a clear focus on profitable growth, your insights will shape how we price work, win projects, and improve performance.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Lead the generation and submission of customer proposals, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery
Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders during the quoting process, managing both technical and commercial risks
Support sales teams globally in commercial discussions and proposal clarifications
Ensure internal processes and approvals are followed, including review of Terms & Conditions and financial estimates
Conduct clear order handovers to project teams, supporting timely delivery, invoicing, and payment
Maintain high-quality data in Salesforce and Dynamics 365 and contribute to system-driven insights
Drive improvements in proposal quality, structure, and margin estimation
Translate data into reports and dashboards to support commercial KPIs and decision-making
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in a Commercial, Inside Sales, or Application Engineering role
Experience in rotating equipment or gas turbine services is desirable, but not essential
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to work across multiple teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms - Dynamics 365 experience is a plus
A detail-oriented, analytical mindset with a proactive, flexible approach
Ability to influence others and support strong internal process compliance
